Our History
Organized on August 6,1895, the building was erected in 1896 and dedicated on January 10,1897. The first service was on August 27, 1972.
The last text of first service was in the current (new) building on August 27, 1972.
As believers in Christ, associated to maintain public worship, provide religious instruction and promote The Kingdom of God according to the scriptures, this church is organized as the First Christian Church of Burwell, Nebraska. This church is a local autonomy and is not connected with any state or national ecclesiastical, religious organization or corporation.
Everyone is welcome to attend our Church for worship. We encourage you to study the bible, its God’s infallible Word.
If you chose to officially join our church you may become a member after having public confession that you believe in Christ as the Only Begotten Son of God and his Savior, accepts the Bible as the rule of his faith and action, has been duly immersed.
